Scotts Bluff hosting Range Beef Cow Symposium

Hundreds of cattle producers and industry people are expected to attend the biannual Range Beef Cow Symposium XII when it convenes Nov. 29 and 30 and Dec. 1 at the Mitchell Events Center at the Scotts Bluff County Fairgrounds in Scottsbluff, Nebr.

The event is sponsored by South Dakota State University Extension in conjunction with Extension programs at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Colorado State University and the University of Wyoming.

Former Secretary of Agriculture Mike Johanns will be the event’s first speaker.

University and beef industry experts will talk about key issues facing cattle producers.
