Two-alarm fire destroys Rapid Valley home

The Rapid Valley Volunteer Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire in the 4400 block of Kimm St. Monday morning.

Firefighters found a free burning fire in the interior of an unoccupied house when they arrived.

The fire was contained to the house, stopping the spread of the flames to nearby structures.

Temperatures of -17 degrees and a wind chill of -25 was recorded at the scene.

No injuries were reported.
