MUSTANG, Okla. | Roger Leigh Rohrer, age 82, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018.
He was born May 26, 1936, in Faith, SD, to Eugene C. and Janet Edna (Mason) Rohrer. Roger grew up on a ranch near Faith.
He worked for years for the Homestake Mining Company and in 1970, went to work for Montana Dakota Utilities.
His hobbies included a love of old cars, Model Ts and riding his motorcycle and later his trike.
Roger's first wife Jan (Maxwell) passed away on June 10, 2009. He was remarried on March 25, 2010, to Eva “Ann” Annette Dunn.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law; Harley Lux and brother-in-law Ben Henderson.
Roger is survived by his wife Ann Dunn; one daughter, Debra Lux of Rapid City, SD; three boys, David and wife Brenda of Rapid City, James and wife Sharyn of Tucson, AZ and R. Allan of Lead, SD; eight grandchildren, Jenae Guffey, Jennifer Neal, Casey Rohrer, Haley Kingery, Telsa Smoot, Garret Lux, Tayler Kirby, Katelyn Rohrer; and six great-grandchildren, Liam Lux, Jhett DeHerrera, Harleigh Lux, Mckinleigh Neal, Chastin Stahl and Breckyn Smoot. Roger has one sister, Audrey Henderson of Mobridge, SD.
Memorial Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lead, SD.
