The St. Thomas More football team broke a rare three-game losing skid with a 53-0 win over Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Friday night at Dutton Field.

SIOUX FALLS O’GORMAN 41, RAPID CITY CENTRAL 7: Sioux Falls O’Gorman remained undefeated as it rolled by Rapid City Central at home Friday.

Central, 1-4, hosts Aberdeen Central next Friday while O’Gorman, 5-0, is on the road against Sioux Falls Roosevelt Friday.

HARDING COUNTY 36, FAITH 20: The Ranchers led 22-14 at halftime and held on for the win over the Longhorns Friday night in Faith.

Harding County outscored Faith 14-6 in the fourth after a scoreless third quarter.

Camden Hett was 15-of-31 passing for 153 yards and one TD for Harding County, with Zack Anders catching 10 passes for 153 yards. Reese Jensen ran for 125 yards and one score, while Jonas Lundsgaard added 87 yards on the ground.

Joe Alanz ran the ball six times for 93 yards for Faith.

Harding County 5-1, is at Dupree Friday and Faith, 2-4, hosts Bison.

MITCHELL 55, DOUGLAS 20: The Kernels won their second game of the season with a big win over the Patriots.

Mitchell led 28-0 at the end of the first quarter and 49-0 at halftime.

The Patriots got on the board on a pair of touchdowns runs by Noah Vinson from 3- and 92-yards out, while John Updike also scored on a 19-yard run in the fourth quarter.

Vinson led the Patriots with 127 yards on nine carries.

Drew Kitchens had 96 yards on six rushes, while Kiel Nelson added 76 yards. Mitchell went to its reserves late in the second quarter.

Douglas, 0-5, is at St. Thomas More on Friday.

HILL CITY 32, RAPID CITY CHRISTIAN 30: The Rangers used a late-goal-line stand to hold off the Comets.

Rapid City Christian battled from a 20-0 deficit and had the ball late with a first and goal from the 8-yard line, but Hill City's defense held to get the win.

Hill City got a pair of TD runs from Tyler Arnold in the first quarter from 35 and 2 yards and a 39-yard touchdown pass from Noah Krull to Taylor Edwards for a 20-0 lead. Krull also scored on a 59-yard TD run in the second and a 4-yard run in the fourth.

Samuel Schlabach was 17-of-30 passing for 137 yards and two touchdowns for the Comets, while Luke Randolph had 130 return yards, including a 67-yard kickoff return for Rapid City Christian.

Hill City, 3-2, is at Philip Friday, while Rapid City Christian, 0-5, hosts Kadoka Area.

SPEARFISH 32, STURGIS 21: The Spartans rallied in the fourth quarter to upset the Scoopers for their first win of the season.

In a back-and-forth game, Sturgis led 21-14 before Spearfish scored the final three touchdowns.

Spearfish, 1-4, hosts Hot Springs on Friday, while Sturgis, 2-3, hosts Pierre.
