Spearfish battled back from two straight set losses, to stop Belle Fourche in five sets Tuesday night in Belle Fourche.

The Spartans earned the win by the scores of 25-19, 25-22, 21-25, 19-25 and 15-13.

Payson Birkeland led the way for the Broncs with 20-of-20 serving and three aces, eight kills, two solo blocks and two assisted blocks and 19 assists. Taryn Stedillie was 15-of-15 serving and 16 assists, while Harley Fischer and Emma Singer both had 19 digs. Tristan Garman led the way in kills with 16, while Ashley Byrd had nine kills and two solo blocks and four assisted blocks.

No results were made available for Spearfish.

Spearfish, 10-12, is at Hot Springs Tuesday, while Belle Fourche, 7-12, is at Aberdeen Roncalli Friday and the Redfield tournament Saturday.

ST. THOMAS MORE 3, HILL CITY 1: The Cavaliers got past the Rangers in a competitive match Tuesday at the STM Gym.

STM won by the scores of 26-24, 25-14, 19-25 and 27-25.

Ciara Benson finished with 13 kills and three service aces for the Cavs, while Molly Slowick had 12 digs and two aces. Alex Kandolin had 12 kills,  Skylar Sullivan led the way with 14 digs and Amelya Robinson had 40 assists. Grace Bechtel and Mairin Duffy had three blocks each.

No results were made available for Hill City.

St. Thomas More, 23-5, is at Custer Thursday, while Hill City, 26-6, is at Wall.

GREGORY 3, COLOME 0: The Gorillas earned a three-set win over the Cowgirls 25-11, 25-23 and 25-11 Tuesday night in Gregory.

Addy Nelson and Megan Warnke had eight kills each for Gregory, while Brooklyn VanderWerrf and Sydney Svatos had 12 assists each. Svatos also had 11 digs.

Kaydee Heath had six kills for Colome and Makaya Shippy had 10 assists.

Gregory, 12-8, is at South Central Tuesday, with Colome, 6-14, hosting White River.

RAPID CITY CENTRAL 3, STURGIS 0: The Cobblers had little trouble with the Scoopers, winning in three sets Tuesday.

Central won by the scores of 25-11, 25-20 and 25-13.

No individual results were made available.

The Cobblers, 9-12, will be at Mitchell Friday and Huron Saturday, while the Scoopers, 8-14, will be at Lead-Deadwood Thursday.

RAPID CITY STEVENS 3, DOUGLAS 0: The Raiders rolled to a three-set win over the Patriots Tuesday night, 25-11, 25-9 and 25-3.

No individual results were made available.

The Raiders move to 21-1 with the win and will travel to Huron Friday and Mitchell Saturday.

The Patriots, 4-16, will be at Hot Springs Thursday.
