Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska, is requesting Construction Bids for the Student Center Lighting Upgrade. Sealed Bids will be received by Chadron State College until 2:30 p.m. local time on January 25, 2018 at Chadron State College, Sparks Hall, Room 224, 1000 Main Street, Chadron, Nebraska.

Project Description: The project consists of removal of the existing light fixtures in the Student Center and replacing them with new energy efficient light fixtures. Plans and Specifications may be examined at:

Central Nebraska Plan Service, 111 West 6th Street, North Platte, NE

Construction Industry Center, 2771 Plant Street, Rapid City, SD

Plans and Specifications may be obtained from Chadron State College, Blair Brennan, Construction Project Coordinator, bbrennan@csc.edu or 308.432.6044.

Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent of the total amount of the Bid. The Bid Bond will be made payable to Chadron State College. A voluntary pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. local time on January 15, 2018 at the site. All Bidders are required to examine the site prior to Bidding. Those unable to attend the meeting may schedule their site visit with Blair Brennan. Bidders should take caution if U.S. mail or mail delivery services are used for the submission of bids. Mailing should be made in sufficient time for bids to arrive at the College, prior to the time and date specified above. Fax or e-mail bids are not acceptable. Bid response must be in a sealed envelope. Chadron State College reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in bids submitted.

Submit all questions regarding drawings and specifications to Olsson Associates or Blair Brennan. Answers to questions dealing with substantial matters involving discrepancies, ambiguities, or clarifications will be issued in addenda. Questions shall be submitted in writing six (6) days prior to the bid opening date.
