For most bikers, the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is a huge party. For members of the Christian Motorcyclists Association, it’s an opportunity to help when disaster strikes.
Volunteers with the Christian Motorcyclists Association come to the Black Hills every year to offer help to bikers who suffer accidents, illness or injuries while they're at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Some of the team of CMA volunteers who assisted this year are (standing to the left of banner, back row) John Golnick, Roger Plath, Gary Hooten, Barb Plath, and (front row) John Cordes and Judy Erlwine. The group to the right of the banner is (standing, back row) Brice Storhbehn and Roger Bush, and (front row) Rosie Wurpts, Kim Storhbehn and Lori Bush.
