In the shadows of C Hill, the line of fans dotted the Mari Sandoz Trail last Thursday, March 26. Like a stream feeding a reservoir, it poured into the Don Beebe Stadium parking lot. Thursday was ticket day. The event: Huskers vs. University of Northern Colorado Bears in women’s volleyball, taking place April 25 in Chicoine Center.
With C Hill in the background, this was the scene on Thursday morning, March 26, behind the parking lot leading to Don Beebe Stadium at Chadron State College, about 10 hours before tickets for the Nebraska-Northern Colorado volleyball match to be played on April 25 went on sale. Most of these “campers” had already been there at least a full day.
