The Chadron Garden Club June Yard of the Month selection is Don and Stephanie King located at 953 Bordeaux Road. Don and Stephanie have lived there since 2004. The house was built in 1928. There were many people who lived there, including Carl Peterson, Jerry and Jan Greenwood, Erwin and Carol Keim and Henry Freed, who had built a barbecue oven in the back.
The yard has a variety of flower beds along with beautiful trees and a gorgeous pond full of lily pads. Don’s favorite part of the yard is the lawn. Stephanie loves all the flowers and the color. It was a pleasure to see all the various parts of their beautiful yard.
