The Chadron State College football team is expected to be put to the test Thursday night, August 27, when it opens its season by playing the Northern State Wolves on their home field at Aberdeen, S.D. Kickoff will be at 5 o’clock MT.
With these players leading the way, linebacker is expected to be one of the strengths of the Chadron State defense this fall. In front, from left, are returning starters Reese Jacobs and Cooper Walton. Standing are Liam Blaser, Ty Young and Jarred Marquez.
Chadron State has learned the hard way at times that it needs three capable quarterbacks. The coaches say this year’s trio fills the bill. They are, from left, Wyatt Sprague, Aidan Thompson and Kasey Jones. Thompson was selected as the RMAC’s top quarterback during the coaches’ preseason voting.
