Led by a pair of firsts and three runner-up placings, the Chadron High School women placed fourth among the 16 teams at the Bayard B-C-D Track and Field Meet on Friday, May 8.
Another Chadron senior, Beau Behrends, usually runs the 1660 and won that event at the Western Conference Meet, but she entered the 800 at the Bayard BCD Meet and placed second. Chadron senior Vrasia Sayaloune was the runner-up in the discus at the Bayard BCD Meet with a throw of 110 feet, 2 inches. There were 40 entries in the event.
