RAPID CITY — South Dakota Mines jumped out to a 10-7 first quarter lead, but was kept off the scoreboard the rest of the way as the Chadron State Eagles won their seventh consecutive Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game of the season 35-10 Saturday afternoon, Nov. 1, in Rapid City.
Chadron State’s Garet Schlabs, a sophomore from Cheyenne, was at full stride when he caught this 33-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Aidan Thompson early in the second quarter against South Dakota Mines in Rapid City last Saturday.
