The three exceptional professional athletes with a Western flair from the region—Lisa Lockhart of Oelrichs, Garrett Shadbolt of Merriman and Riley Pruitt of Gering — will be competing at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nev., in early December.
Garrett Shadbolt of Merriman came to the Coffee Pavillion at Chadron State College earlier this month and rode Medicine Show, a bareback bronc belonging to Spud Creek Rodeo at Interior, S.D., to help him prepare for the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas in early December.
