Locals rave about the mouthwatering eats and incredibly fun atmosphere at Boston’s Pizza Restaurant & Sports Bar, located at the Deadwood Gulch Resort. This must-visit pizzeria is where guests can indulge in an array of seasonal signature starters, vibrant salads and bowls, juicy burgers, gourmet pastas and scrumptious main dish entrees. Oh, and did we mention the pizza?
Choose your adventure
Pizza lovers can satiate any and all of their sauce and dough cravings at this pie paradise. Guests can choose the size, crust and toppings to create their own handcrafted pizza from dozens of ingredients. Or go with one of the unique pizza favorites appearing on the eclectic menu: pepperoni and feta pesto, the Flying Buffalo, NY White, chicken spinach and artichoke, Mama Meata, ultimate pepperoni, taco, margherita or Sicilian, to name a few. The choices are endless, and the chefs craft all the dough and toppings in house, packed with flavor and lots of love.
“You could spend days just trying all the pizzas we have on the menu,” said Tim Johnson, owner of Deadwood Gulch Resort. “And for those guests who prefer something — anything — else, we have an irresistible menu.”
Johnson is thrilled to be able to offer Boston Pizza’s prized menu to Deadwood residents and guests. He said it’s the first one in the area since the 2017 closure of a Boston’s Pizza franchise in Rapid City, about 45 minutes away. Despite the closing, the restaurant was a favorite among residents.
“Everyone around here was so excited when they heard we were opening a Boston’s Pizza at the resort,” Johnson said. “Between the food and fun atmosphere of Deadwood, it provides an incredibly unique dining experience for our guests.”

Don’t want pizza? Order from the unique and extensive menu
The list of non-pizza offerings is expansive and delicious.
The ribs and pasta dishes are two of their biggest sellers. Here’s a small sampling of what’s available: corn rib wings, Buffalo cauliflower, Thai shrimp bits, bacon-wrapped steak skewers, chili lime shrimp bowl, Italian brute sandwich, pizzaburger, the MVB (Most Valuable Burger), spicy chicken and broccoli Alfredo, jambalaya pasta, Asian glazed salmon, Boston’s whiskey cake and chocolate brownie addiction. There’s something for everyone.
For chicken wing lovers, Johnson jokes that the restaurant has napkins “standing by!” Customize the size and flavors of your wings with more than 16 options — from Raging Cajun and garlic Parmesan to Stingin’ Honey and New Caribbean Jerk.
Fun for the whole family
A kids menu even gives the little ones the chance to create their own pastas and sundaes, along with an assortment of cheeseburgers, chicken strips and milkshakes, with fun names like Unicorn Lemonade and Fly Me to Hawaii.
Adults can indulge in a wide range of mocktails, craft cocktails, party size cocktails, margaritas and seasonal beers.

Hit the trails, explore Deadwood Gulch Resort’s range of amazing amenities
Johnson said the restaurant is just one of many amenities that guests and locals can enjoy at the 88-room resort. And because it’s located at the trailhead to Mickelson Trail, nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers can take advantage of on-site e-bikes, snowmobiles and UTV rentals. For guests who want to wander Deadwood town, a trolley runs continually between the town and resort. Ample parking for locals and guests is available as well.
Numerous fire pits, tables and chairs dot Boston’s Pizza’s various patios and outdoor spaces for people to enjoy their meals, sip on refreshing cocktails and take in the gorgeous panoramic views of the Black Hills.
“We encourage everyone to stop by and partake in all the amazing amenities we have here,” Johnson said. “We take immense pride in being a hometown hot spot that provides the most fun, relaxing and enjoyable experience for each of our guests. See you soon!”
