WaTiki Indoor Waterpark Resort is sliding into the upgrade of a lifetime. Starting March 28, 2022, the entire resort will undergo a complete transformation to better enhance the guest experience throughout the waterpark.
In the meantime, LIV Hospitality has compiled a list of 10 fun things to do to help make your vacation a splashing good time. You’re invited to be part of the experience by tuning into LIV Hospitality’s social media platforms for regular updates. The team will miss you all during this time and cannot wait to greet you with a fresh look in May 2022.
Dive into fun at Koko’s Arcade (located above WaTiki Waterpark), which will remain open for extended hours throughout April. With over 50 of your favorite classic and modern video games, plus skee-ball and air hockey, there’s something for every age. After scoring some fun prizes, enjoy a variety of snacks and treats including chips, ice cream, sodas and so much more. Don’t forget to grab a souvenir for your friends. Hats, stuffed monkeys, backpacks, shirts and more are perfect items to remember your trip to WaTiki Indoor Waterpark Resort.

Spend a morning, afternoon, or evening bouncing off the walls. Get Air Indoor Trampoline Park in Rapid City, South Dakota, combines amusement and exercise at its indoor trampoline facility. The park offers wall-to-wall trampolines, foam pits, dunk lanes and all kinds of fun features. Get Air is open seven days a week and provides fun for all ages.
Looking for a fun environment for children to use their imagination and play at their own pace? Run Wild is the Black Hills’ newest indoor-outdoor playground. Your children can play and explore freely in the three-story play structure with slides, tubes, tunnels, obstacles and a climbing tower. For younger children, the playground offers a separate infant and toddler play area that is both stimulating and fun. While you’re here, fuel up with a coffee or a snack at the on-site coffee bar.
Are you ready for an adventure that’s fun for the whole family? Bring your camera and step into the world’s largest reptile zoo, Reptile Gardens. This must-see family attraction features stunning botanical gardens, gator shows, bird shows, snake shows, a tropical oasis inside the Sky Dome and giant tortoises. Stroll through the botanical gardens and enjoy countless flowerbeds, rock gardens and fruit trees. Don’t forget to take the kids over to Prairie Dog Town, where they can watch prairie dogs play from an underground bubble.
Looking for some free family fun? Head over to Dinosaur Park, located along a ridge in Rapid City that encircles the Black Hills. The park contains seven life-size dinosaur sculptures with spectacular 100-mile views and serves as a trailhead for hiking and biking on the Skyline Wilderness Trail. Fun fact: Dinosaur footprints have been found not far from the park!
Want to take the kids swimming? Pack your swimming gear and head to the YMCA in Rapid City for open swim and other fun sport-related activities. The YMCA is the perfect place for families to be active and have fun.
